Proven high durability! Requires less wall material, increasing design flexibility and options for architectural proposals.
The "LC-core construction method" efficiently arranges CLT panels while maintaining seismic performance and reducing the amount of panel usage. In a shaking table experiment conducted in October 2017, we carried out seismic tests using various cases that included seismic waves from the Hanshin Earthquake. No destruction of original hardware or original CLT panels was observed, demonstrating high durability. Additionally, in July 2018, a second shaking table experiment was conducted, confirming the maximum strength of the original hardware and original CLT panels. 【Features】 ■ Compared to CLT panel construction methods, the amount of wall panels can be reduced by 50%. ■ With a reduced amount of required walls, the design and proposal flexibility increases (such as fully glass-clad CLT buildings). ■ Strong connections using original hardware can achieve high seismic resistance even with reduced CLT panel usage. *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.
