Toa Cork Co., Ltd. was founded in 1903 as Yasuda Hideyoshi Shoten. Initially focusing on wooden arms, timber, and woodworking, we have supplied materials to power companies, the former Telecommunications Public Corporation (now NTT), and the National Railways (now JR) for many years. Gradually transforming our business through the turbulent Taisho and Showa eras, we established the current Toa Cork Co., Ltd. on April 1, 1983. Since then, as a cork specialty company, we have researched the natural properties of cork, such as sound absorption, insulation, and elasticity, and have worked to develop and sell products that meet the needs of the times. Our "Topper Cork" brand, which boasts a rich product lineup including cork tiles for flooring, cork sheets for walls and ceilings, cork flooring, cork soundproof underlayment "Corhorn," and carbonized cork insulation "Cordan," is our pride and confidence. Moving forward, we will continue to make further efforts and improvements, striving to develop and sell cork products that meet societal and customer needs, ultimately contributing to the development of living environments in Japan.
