Company information
I・D・F is a manufacturing company born in Ishinomaki from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Based on our disaster experience, we aim to create products that can protect lives from potential future disasters, even if just a little. Our flagship product, FRS, was commercialized through a collaborative project between Ishinomaki Senshu University, Ishinomaki City, and local businesses. In addition to existing products such as automotive seat covers and solar system LED streetlights, we began joint research with the Tohoku University Future Science and Technology Collaborative Research Center (NICHe) in 2018, and in 2019, we started producing lithium-ion batteries using manganese-based cathode materials in the Kahoku area of Ishinomaki. Currently, we manufacture and sell battery modules using our own lithium-ion battery cells suitable for stationary devices such as energy storage systems.
