Lightweighting of axis objects, cost reduction, and additional functions! New processing technology for hollow shafts.
"Radial Forging" is a forging machine that applies force from the radial direction of the axis using a hammer (die) to achieve plastic deformation. By inserting a core and transferring the inner diameter shape, it is possible to form both the inner and outer diameters simultaneously. Additionally, since it can perform hot and warm processing, it is capable of machining shapes with thick shafts or flanges. 【Features】 ■ Compatible with "hot, warm, and cold" processing, allowing for machining under conditions suitable for the amount of deformation and specifications. ■ NC control of the hammer enables the formation of multi-stage shapes with a single chuck. ■ By controlling the position of the hammering from the outside and the inner diameter core (mandrel), it achieves inner diameter shapes that are impossible with cutting processes. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Applications/Examples of results
【Applications】 ■Aircraft - Forming thickness variations and end shape through the combination of internal wing support processing and RF. ■Automotive Parts - Hollowing out of automotive transmission components. - Reducing weight and machining. - Increasing adoption of rotor shafts for EV/HEV motors. - Processing from blank materials through press forging into shaft shapes (hot working). ■Cold Processing - Shapes requiring precision are processed cold (there is a track record of transferring mandrels for inner diameter SPL). *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

If you are troubled by the following issues: 1. Wanting to integrate multiple components into one 2. Wanting to stop total machining of expensive materials and difficult-to-cut materials 3. Wanting to produce small quantity parts at low mold costs Please feel free to consult with us. At Tsuzuki Manufacturing, we are engaged in the machining of automotive suspension parts, manufacturing various hydraulic equipment for construction machinery, and since 2017, we have also been machining aerospace components. While building on the technology we have accumulated over many years, we introduced a forging machine called "Radial Forging" in 2019, taking steps to expand into new machining areas. We aim to realize a more efficient and rational production environment and continue to grow in response to changes in the times.
