Suitable for buried object root depth surveys, boulder surveys, and structural integrity assessments!
At Kyoa Development, we conduct the "Auris Survey," which utilizes the reflection phenomenon of elastic waves to non-destructively examine the length and integrity of structures. By using elastic waves in the high-frequency range of 10 kHz to 100 kHz, we can detect the locations of cracks and other issues within the structure. Additionally, we are registered with NETIS and have obtained patents for "Dynamic Diagnosis Methods for Piles or Structures" and "Shape Diagnosis Methods for Natural Structures." 【Features】 ■ Easily measure length ■ Capable of surveying bridge piers, PC piles, PHC piles, H steel piles, steel sheet piles, wooden piles, stone columns, bedrock, and more ■ Can measure the length of piles under footings and steel sheet piles under caulking (superstructure) ■ Can investigate the presence of buckling, cracks, and other issues *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Survey Method】 ■ Shape and polish the upper edge of the object under investigation (the surface where the receiving sensor is installed and the hammer impact surface) using a disc grinder. ■ Attach the receiving sensor to the upper edge of the object under investigation and strike the side of the sensor with a hammer to induce vibrations. ■ By varying the size of the hammer and the strength of the strikes, find highly reproducible reflected waves. ■ Measure the propagation time of the elastic waves. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Koa Development was established in 1953 (Showa 28), and thanks to your support, we have surpassed our 60th anniversary, for which we are sincerely grateful. Our company started as a geological survey firm and now primarily focuses on consulting services related to ground and groundwater, as well as soil environment consulting and purification and restoration projects to maintain a rich global environment. In our country, natural disasters caused by earthquakes, heavy rains, and typhoons, such as the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Hiroshima heavy rain disaster, are frequent. This is exacerbated by Japan's unique vulnerable ground and steep terrain, which amplify the scale of disasters. In such a natural environment, the role our company plays as a group of ground experts (Geo-Doctors) is becoming increasingly important. We aim to further refine the ground and soil environment-related technologies that form the foundation for the development of social infrastructure and the construction of a sustainable society, providing optimal solutions and contributing to society so that everyone can live safely and securely. We will continue to prioritize our customers and strive for further development of our business, so we kindly ask for your guidance and encouragement.
