Inspection method for steel deck plates using infrared thermography.
Our company has developed a non-destructive testing technology that uses infrared thermography to measure the surface temperature of steel materials, addressing the challenges of traditional inspection methods and enabling efficient and high-precision crack detection. When the road surface is exposed to sunlight and the pavement is heated, that heat is transmitted to the U-ribs through the steel deck plates. If there is a crack in the weld joint connecting the deck plate and the U-rib, the gap (air layer) at the crack interrupts heat conduction, resulting in a temperature gap before and after the crack. By detecting this temperature gap using infrared thermography, it has become possible to discover cracks in the steel without removing the paint. 【Features】 ■ Non-destructive testing technology using infrared thermography ■ Inspection while continuously capturing images longitudinally from a distance ■ Efficient and high-precision crack detection without removing paint *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
