It is possible to detect the distance, direction, and speed of objects using systems such as AGVs, drones, and robot radar obstacle monitoring systems.
The 76/79GHz band 3D MIMO radar platform develops an imaging radar system that cascades two industry-leading RF transceivers with 3 channels for transmission and 4 channels for reception, supporting 48 virtual arrays. This achieves an angular separation performance of 3 degrees in the horizontal direction and a distance resolution of 10 cm. 【Features】 About the miRadar® 48e developed by Sakuratech ■ A 79GHz radar module capable of detecting the distance, azimuth (horizontal and vertical), and speed of objects ■ Achieves a 48-element virtual array through MIMO technology, enabling high-precision 3D detection ■ A 4GHz wide bandwidth suitable for distance resolution ■ High-speed acquisition of received data to a host PC via USB 3.0, allowing for quick and easy testing in the field *For more details, please contact us.

Company information
Sakura Tech has been developing imaging sensors and high-performance microwave/mm-wave components using ultra-wideband technology since its founding in October 2008. In particular, we developed a compact and high-performance radar platform (miRadar(R)8) using Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology, which has been commercialized as an obstacle monitoring radar. Using the same radar platform, we developed an algorithm that can simultaneously measure the vital signs (heart rate, respiration) of multiple individuals, and we have been the first in the world to sell evaluation kits, receiving positive feedback from many manufacturers. Radio wave sensors have become essential in the fields of autonomous driving sensors, security aimed at creating a safe and secure society, and monitoring the elderly in an IoT society. Going forward, Sakura Tech will continue to provide and contribute to society with human-friendly, high-performance sensors using radio waves.
