Bend Test A test in which a bend testing machine is used to bend a specimen to a specified angle, examining the presence of cracks on the outer side of the bend and other defects. 3. Charpy Impact Test A test in which an impact testing machine applies an impact load to a specimen until it breaks, evaluating the energy absorbed and the toughness of the specimen. 4. Hardness Test A test in which a hardness testing machine presses a hard indenter of a specific shape into the surface of a specimen with a constant load to measure its hardness.
