The robot autonomously transports cases from the storage area to the inbound and outbound areas, replacing the need for human workers. It allows for the use of existing medium-duty racks, transforming the site into an automated warehouse. If conditions are met, it is also possible to use the cases currently in use as they are. This shifts picking from human labor to robotic picking, contributing to the automation and reduction of labor in factories and warehouses. ■ By combining with flap-type sorting robots, it is possible to fully automate the sorting and transportation to the shipping area. ■ By combining with conveyor-type sorting robots, it is possible to fully automate the processes from inbound to shelving, shelf retrieval, and outbound.
