"White Love" and "Princess Love" are original dogwood varieties from Sumitomo Forestry that are easy to cultivate, have an upright growth habit, and produce large flowers. They were selectively bred with the aim of creating dogwoods that have a well-formed tree shape and high ornamental value due to their flowers and fruits. Based on observations during the breeding process, they were registered as varieties with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, characterized by moderate apical dominance and large flowers in white and light pink.
