This is an introduction to a case where we resolved a request for a quotation for the design of packaging materials for the shipment of rubber raw materials.
We received a request from our customer for a quotation on the design of packaging materials for shipping rubber raw materials to a new client in South Korea. Leveraging our strength in the flexible design of packaging materials, we proposed a special packaging solution that incorporates thick cardboard into a U-shaped sleeve. The strength to withstand the bulging of rubber raw materials, as well as the packaging size designed with consideration for loading efficiency in a 20ft container, were both highly evaluated, leading to its adoption. Despite being made of paper, it achieves remarkable strength through a special structure, allowing for the loading and stacking of heavy items that are difficult with conventional cardboard pallets. It also eliminates the need for fumigation treatment required for overseas transport with wooden pallets. It can withstand high-temperature and high-humidity environments, making it suitable for container transport. Custom designs are possible, allowing us to propose pallets in optimal sizes, contributing to improved transport efficiency. Disposal is easy, and it is 100% recyclable as waste paper. We aim to assist with initiatives related to the "SDGs," promote "white logistics" through palletization, and help solve the "2024 logistics problem" through Eco Board Pallets.
