Our company had been conducting profitability management using Excel, which led to us receiving a white company certification from the local government, a rarity for a web production company often associated with overtime and all-nighters. This has contributed to a reduction in turnover rates and an increase in recruitment capabilities. The know-how from that profitability management has been systematized into the cloud-based profitability management software, Pace. In the current context of work style reform, small and medium-sized enterprises are required to provide five days of paid leave starting April 1, 2019, and a cap on overtime work will be enforced from April 1, 2020.
