At the IHI Soma Factory, it was necessary to operate six air conditioning units continuously to maintain the temperature in the chemical storage facility, which cannot be too hot in summer or too cold in winter. Therefore, it was introduced as an emergency power source during power outages and regular maintenance. During a power outage, it automatically starts within 40 seconds using an automatic start device and stops automatically after power is restored. Additionally, during regular maintenance, it can also operate and stop automatically at set intervals by combining the automatic start device with a regular maintenance timer.
