【Technical materials being presented!】Regarding the relationship between wood and the environment.
We will introduce the relationship of wood with the environment and its related issues.
In recent years, Japan's forest area has not changed much over the past 40 years, but the area of artificial forests has increased by about twice. This is said to be due to the planting of fast-growing species such as cedar and cypress, aimed at utilizing them as construction timber and conserving the national land and nurturing water sources. This catalog introduces the relationship of such timber with the environment. [Contents] (Excerpt) ■ Changes in Japan's forest area and volume over the past 40 years ■ Decrease in wood demand and increase in artificial forest volume ■ Age structure of artificial forests ■ What is carbon neutrality ● For more details, please contact us or download the PDF materials to view.
