SRD System can be used under environmental conditions such as smoke, liquids, and powders. 3D radar safety system compliant with SIL2/Pld standards.
◆Features of the SRD Series - Radar system compliant with SIL2/Pld standards Meets the control performance requirement level PLd for safety-related parts of robots and robotic systems, and the safety integrity level SIL 2, enabling the operation of the radar system for operator protection in industrial safety applications. - The SRD sensor is a smart FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar device based on a unique detection algorithm. It transmits 24 GHz radio waves to extract motion information and analyzes reflected signals from both stationary and moving objects within its operational range. Up to 6 sensors can be connected. If even one sensor detects an intrusion, the safety output of the controller is disabled.

basic information
- Safe Restart Prevention Function The SRD System detects when an operator is in a hazardous area and prevents the machine from restarting, eliminating the need for the operator to confirm whether the area is safe before restarting the machine. - Functions even in environments where optical sensors and laser sensors are difficult to use. The SRD System is less affected by environmental factors such as smoke, dust, chips, and splashes, which are waste generated by machining. - The maximum monitoring distance is 4 meters. [The product name has been changed to SRD. The old product name was LBK.]
