The reflective SLM that employs liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) technology features a unique design for pure phase applications. Additionally, thanks to the analog drive technology that delivers direct analog data at a consistently new rate, it is possible to achieve stable phase stability with minimal ripple. It can be used for various applications, including spectral tuning, and supports wavelengths from 488 nm to 1650 nm. The SLM-1K is designed for high-speed response, utilizing the latest PCIe high-speed digital controller, allowing for a response time of <1.1 ms (<1 kHz) with phase ripple <0.2%. This represents a response speed that is up to 1/8 shorter compared to using an HDMI controller.
