It is a joining technology that can achieve weight reduction through the use of dissimilar materials while making use of existing welding lines.
Conventional joining technologies, such as resistance spot welding, cannot be used for modern multi-material vehicle bodies because the materials are either thermally incompatible or restricted. To meet these requirements, Berhof developed the WELTAC technology. This technology enables multi-material joining on existing welding lines, expanding design and engineering freedom. Additionally, in automation systems, it is developed based on our already established SPR (Rivset) technology, so you can use it with confidence. [Features] - Enables spot welding of dissimilar materials. - Usable for aluminum and cast materials ranging from 0.8 to 3.2 mm. - Capable of joining 2 to 4 sheets. - Adhesive can be used in conjunction.

basic information
As the first process, iron rivets are driven into upper materials such as aluminum. These rivets can then be used as welding points, allowing for welding with the lower iron materials. Our company provides riveting equipment and rivets in addition to welding machines. Currently, there are six types of rivets available, which can be used according to applications such as material and plate thickness. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
