Manufacturing technology for artificial joint sliding components that are excellent in wear resistance and can be sterilized by radiation.
Dramatically improved abrasion resistance! Introducing the technology of the new product development and manufacturing department.
Our company has developed a manufacturing technology for artificial joint sliding components with excellent wear resistance by suppressing the generation of free radicals produced by radiation sterilization, thereby improving the physical properties of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. Additionally, we have developed a novel technology that dramatically enhances traditional wear resistance by imparting molecular orientation that maximizes the characteristics of polymers. We licensed this related patent to Biomet, Inc. in the United States, and the company obtained approval from the U.S. FDA in March 2005. We have also begun selling second-generation artificial joint products utilizing this technology. 【Features】 ■ Improved physical properties of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene ■ Developed manufacturing technology for artificial joint sliding components with excellent wear resistance ■ Developed a novel technology that dramatically enhances traditional wear resistance by imparting molecular orientation that maximizes the characteristics of polymers ■ Began selling second-generation artificial joint products utilizing this technology *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

BMG is a research and development venture company that has been challenging the development of new biomaterial products adapted to trends in the medical field, based on a long-standing strong collaboration with the Kyoto University Institute for Advanced Medical Research. Focusing on the field of medical polymers (macromolecules), we are engaged in two promising growth businesses: the "BioDegmer" business and the new products business, as well as research and development aimed at providing innovative solutions in the medical field. Under the management philosophy of "contributing to the health of people around the world by working on the development of better biomaterial products and providing innovative solutions in the medical field," we support the improvement of technologies in the next generation of regenerative medicine and the healthy well-being of people in three areas.
