For scientific and analytical equipment, chemical resistance is often necessary, and since precision is not usually demanded to a high degree, we frequently use PTFE (Teflon). PTFE (Teflon, Naflon, Balfron) is an excellent material for chemical resistance, but it has a large variation in dimensional tolerances, and dimensions can change simply by measuring with bare hands during inspection. We use general lathe processing (Mori Seiki) for simple lathe-processed items, finishing processes, and chamfering of processed products, particularly for items that do not require programming.
