Precast PC slabs using carbon fiber composite material cables (CFCC).
The "CFCC Slab" is a precast PC slab that uses CFCC (carbon fiber composite cable), a corrosion-resistant structural material, as the tensioning material, introducing prestress in two directions: the span direction of the slab and the bridge axis direction. It corresponds to "Method 3" for ensuring durability as specified in the Road Bridge Design Guidelines, and from the perspective of ensuring durability and reducing LCC, its use in harsh salt damage environments, such as near coastlines or areas where freezing prevention agents are spread, is anticipated. 【Structural Features】 ■ Corresponds to "Method 3" for ensuring durability as specified in the Road Bridge Design Guidelines ■ No need to increase the cover thickness (increase in slab thickness) in salt damage environments ■ 6% weight reduction compared to PC slabs of the same thickness (unit volume weight 23.0 kN/m3) ■ The anchorage parts are also made of non-metallic materials *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Features of CFCC】 ■ A cable formed by combining carbon fibers and thermosetting resin, twisted together. ■ Lower Young's modulus compared to PC steel, resulting in less reduction in tensile strength due to creep and drying shrinkage. ■ Design values for guaranteed breaking load are based on PC steel standards. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
