It is possible to measure while a person is seated in a wheelchair, equipped with correction functions to achieve low-noise measurements.
This is a measurement platform for measuring the air resistance (drag) of competitive wheelchairs. It comes with adjustable fixtures that can be tailored to the wheelchair's wheelbase and wheel size. Measurements can also be taken while a person is seated or while pedaling. As an option, automatic rotation of the rollers and the addition of a load device are also available. The dedicated PC software includes a correction function to eliminate noise caused by the shift in the rider's center of gravity.
