This document discusses the weight reduction of aluminum plates reinforced with CFRP materials using the "simple bonding method." By adhering CFRP materials to thinner substrates than conventional aluminum materials, it is possible to achieve the same strength as the original material while further reducing weight. For more details about the simple bonding method, please contact us. 【Overview】 ■Joining - Using the simple bonding method, two sheets of CFRP material are bonded to both sides of a 0.5mm thick aluminum plate, with the fiber direction of the CFRP material rotated by 90 degrees. ■Three-point bending strength of "CFRP reinforced aluminum plate: 0.5+0.5+0.5" - Approximately 80N ■Results - This corresponds to the three-point bending strength of an aluminum plate only, which has a thickness of about 1.8mm, allowing for a weight reduction of approximately half by replacing it with the "CFRP reinforced aluminum plate." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
