Additionally, it is laid between the concrete slab and the base layer to reduce the friction of the base layer that occurs during the contraction of the concrete, which helps to suppress the occurrence of cracks. After the upper base layer is constructed, the pavement paper is laid, and after installing the joint hardware, the concrete is poured.
