Length measurement can be performed even at distances and environments where laser measurement cannot reach. Maintenance-free with a magnetic system. The measurement distance can be extended infinitely by adding segments.
Automated warehouses, elevators in high-rise buildings, conveyors, etc. are suitable for long-distance measurement where laser length measurement and wire-type or contact-type encoders cannot be used. Additionally, scales can be attached to curved surfaces for measurement. (There are limitations on the radius that can be measured.) Non-contact displacement sensors.
