It prevents reflections on information displays and digital signage, making it easier to wipe off fingerprint smudges.
■Overview By applying the next-generation moth-eye structure film 'g.moth' to transparent glass or resin, it achieves a level of transparency that makes it seem as if there is nothing there. Furthermore, it has a strong water-repellent property, addressing the durability issues that were a weakness of conventional moth-eye structure films.

basic information
■Features and Strengths - Ultra-low reflection and ultra-high transmittance as if there is nothing there When 'g.moth' is applied to both sides of the glass, the visual reflection rate is only about 0.5%. It minimizes light reflection and glare to the extreme. (The visual reflection rate for regular glass is about 4%.) - Super hydrophobic with minimal water adhesion The nano-sized fine protrusions (moth-eye structure) on the surface of 'g.moth' achieve super hydrophobicity with a contact angle of 156.0°, allowing water droplets to maintain a spherical shape. It creates a water-repellent effect similar to the lotus effect seen on lotus leaves. - Prevents reflections from wide angles Even when viewed from an angle of approximately 50°, the reflection rate is less than 1% (at a wavelength of 550nm), ensuring visibility over a wide range. - Passes 20,000 cycles of gauze 4.9N sliding test, improving durability Surface hardness and dirt resistance have been enhanced compared to conventional products, making the moth-eye structure less likely to break even when wiped. - Available in sizes up to 600mm wide Film rolls can be manufactured up to a maximum width of 600mm. For example, when applied to TV screens, it can accommodate sizes up to about 45 inches. Custom cutting is available for both large and small items.

Applications/Examples of results
- Digital signage / Electronic billboards Solving the issue of reflections making information hard to see. Supports a wider viewing angle than typical anti-reflective treatments, enhancing visibility. - Show windows / Showcases Displaying beautiful items in their true beauty. With no reflections from lighting or your own image, it achieves a level of transparency that makes the displayed items easy to see from any angle, as if there were no case at all. - Frames for paintings and photographs Have you ever found it difficult to see the artwork within a frame at a museum?
