★We also value the pure expression. We have prepared three types according to usage: folding door type, swinging door type, and sliding door type. The shape of the panels is the same for all, but the accompanying hardware such as hinges and rollers varies. The distinction between swinging doors and folding doors depends on whether the width of the wall next to the window is larger than the width of the door when the wood shutter is opened. If the wall width is smaller than the door width, the door may hit the wall when opened. In such cases, it is better to use the folding door type, which can be folded in half. Of course, deciding based on appearance is also an option. Despite being such an excellent product, the finish is also wonderful. Made from solid cedar wood, it gives a strong impression of luxury while having a matte finish that blends easily into the space. There are five colors available, each with distinct wood grain, and the expression of each individual louver is different. ★We have prepared three types of neutral wood grain. The surface finishes are available in three types: Lauan, Cedar, and MDF. Unlike doors finished with wood grain sheets or plywood that have a smooth texture characteristic of resin, you can enjoy the natural material feel that becomes more flavorful with use. This is particularly well-suited for those who appreciate the charm of vintage furniture and interior styles. Since it is an unfinished product, you can paint it in your preferred color to match your space and taste. Lauan has individual color variations, but it is a material with good dyeing properties, making it recommended for coloring. Dyeing it in brown tones can especially create a craft-like feel. Cedar, which has a light and bright color, is often used for custom furniture. While it can certainly be colored, it is recommended to enjoy its natural expression with clear oil. MDF, which is rare as a door finishing material, is often used for storage boxes and is my personal favorite for its rustic warmth. It absorbs water easily, so a water-based matte urethane finish is recommended.
