Changing the clothes of the room. Between the sliding doors and the shoji, "fabric framed door."
toolbox, sliding door, shoji
It is a sliding door made with fabric. Custom sizes are available, and it can be replaced with existing shoji or fusuma.
★Between Fusuma and Shoji A simplicity like fusuma and a transparency like shoji. We have developed a new type of sliding door that takes the best features of both. Its name is "Nuno Kamachi Do" (Fabric Framed Door). A framed door typically refers to a fixture where glass or panels are fitted into a wooden frame, but in this case, we have stretched fabric instead of glass or panels. It blocks the line of sight while softly allowing light to pass through; it is tear-resistant yet soft, thin yet warm—an innovative fixture that seems like it should exist but doesn’t. The Nuno Kamachi Do can be fitted into the existing frames of shoji or fusuma. Generally, the dimensions of fusuma frames are standardized, with a groove width of 21mm and a space between grooves of 9-15mm, allowing for easy replacement of shoji that partition a tatami room or fusuma that block a closet. Of course, it can also be used with newly created frames in new builds or renovations. ★Fabric Covering Takes a Day!? The product comes in two types: the "Fabric Covered Type," which is delivered with white fabric already stretched, and the "No Fabric Type," where you prepare your own fabric to stretch. If you want to quickly replace your existing fixtures, choose the "Fabric Covered Type." If you want to focus on your interior with your preferred textiles, select the "No Fabric Type."

basic information
★A Fixture That Brings Color and Freshness The fabric sliding door is designed so that anyone can easily replace the fabric themselves. Not only can you use pure white fabric, but you can also apply colorful materials or your favorite textiles, and even use mesh fabric to create an indoor screen door. If your child scribbles on it, you can simply replace it with new fabric, so there's no need to worry. Changing the fabric with the seasons can also be a great way to refresh your mood. Originally, fusuma (sliding doors) were adorned with paintings that added color to interiors. Additionally, shoji (sliding paper doors) had the effect of bringing in fresh air by being replaced with new paper each season. The fabric sliding door not only partitions a room but also allows you to incorporate both color and fresh air by changing the fabric yourself. How about a new sliding door that incorporates textiles into your interior? Development partner of 'Nuno Kamachi Door': Camp Design Inc.
