We would like to introduce a case where Honda R&D used 'modeFRONTIER' for the development of technology for pedestrian protection. In actual accidents, pedestrians collide with vehicles "with their entire body." To accurately understand the mechanism of accidents, the full-body model of a pedestrian, "POLAR," was absolutely necessary. In performance verification, a parameter study was conducted to repeatedly calculate until the performance requirements were met, which took a significant amount of time.
