We would like to introduce a case study of the successful automation of three-dimensional glove sewing by Porte Co., Ltd. In Kagawa Prefecture, famous for its glove production, the number of skilled workers has been decreasing year by year. In contrast, the demand for quality (difficulty) has been increasing, and there has been a constant rush to respond to various shapes, lower prices, and mass production. There was a need for a system that could consistently supply high quality and be operated by anyone. Our company has succeeded in automating the sewing of three-dimensional gloves.
