"Joint box with internal wiring for poles" (SBJA series) released.
VYAA Series Waterproof and Moisture-Proof Emergency LED Light Fixture
Joint box with internal wiring for poles, featuring excellent waterproof and dustproof performance, allowing for safe and easy wiring work.
The "Joint Box with Internal Wiring" (SBJA Series) has a protection rating equivalent to IP68 against waterproofing and dustproofing, making it an ideal structure for poles with high humidity. It comes with wiring, ensuring safe and easy connections, and facilitates inspections. The breaker and terminal block are sealed within, protecting the electrical wiring from moisture and water droplets that accumulate inside the pole. Additionally, the top cover can be opened for voltage and insulation resistance measurements. This product incorporates the resin bonding technology "AKI-Lock" from Polyplastics Co., Ltd. It utilizes a new technology that allows for bonding different types of resins and resin to rubber, which was difficult with conventional methods, resulting in improved waterproof performance compared to previous products.

basic information
<Features> The plastic box with waterproof and dustproof construction houses a breaker and terminal block, shutting out moisture and water droplets inside the pole that can cause insulation failure. 1. The breaker can be operated without opening the top cover, making installation and inspection work easier. 2. The protection grade against water and dust is equivalent to IP68. It can be submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for two weeks without water entering the device, thus protecting the wiring even during temporary flooding caused by heavy rain. Additionally, it has excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for connections in humid poles. 3. Because it uses a highly airtight box, there is no insulation degradation due to wiring connections. 4. With the breaker included, if a short circuit occurs on the load side, it reliably disconnects the circuit, preventing the escalation of accidents such as burning. 5. The top cover can be opened, allowing for the removal of wires from the terminal block, enabling voltage and insulation resistance measurements without cutting the wiring. 6. It has the same mounting pitch as conventional pole joint boxes (SB series), allowing for easy replacement.

Company information
Hoshia Electric has established itself as a top manufacturer in various fields, including information display systems such as road information boards, industrial lighting known for its waterproof and explosion-proof features under the name "Water Pearl," tunnel lighting that began with the full-scale installation in the Kanmon Tunnel, and resin products represented by "Cutting Duct." As a new business, we started an electromagnetic noise countermeasure (EMC) product business in 1997 to address electromagnetic noise issues arising from digital devices. In the LED business, we successfully developed a blue light-emitting diode in April 2002 and a white light-emitting diode in December of the same year. Based on these technologies, we are actively expanding our business in the field of LED lighting fixtures, ranging from roads and tunnels to industrial lighting. On March 9, 2018, Hoshia Electric Co., Ltd. was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section. In April 2022, we transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our creative thinking and technological capabilities cultivated thus far to develop even more innovative products and strive for business expansion.
