The "U-tube type heat exchanger" is a heat exchanger made by bending steel pipes into a U shape, as a replacement for channel-type turn bends. The steel pipes can be selected from carbon steel, stainless steel, or special heat-resistant steel depending on the temperature and gas composition. To achieve high heat transfer performance, the heat source gas flows perpendicular to the tubes on the outside, while the preheated gas is passed through at high speed to enhance its cooling effect. High-temperature preheating is possible up to a heat source temperature of 950°C and a preheated gas temperature of 750°C.
