The "ACE-II NA-900" is an asphalt extraction device that incorporates a system for circulating cooling water internally and a system for cooling the collected water using a refrigeration unit, built into a conventional centrifugal extraction apparatus. This device extracts and recovers asphalt components by injecting solvent into a sample container containing asphalt mixture while rotating at high speed, allowing the solvent to dissolve the asphalt components. The recovered extraction solvent is distilled and regenerated for reuse in asphalt extraction. This method significantly reduces extraction time compared to a Soxhlet apparatus.
