This is a report on the installation of Eco-Mal Film at the Tokyo National Museum. We applied 'Eco-Mal Film M-IR' to the glass surface of the second-floor hall in the Heiseikan and measured its heat insulation effect. ■ Temperature near uninstalled glass: 30°C ■ Temperature near installed glass: 27.8°C ⇒ A heat insulation effect of about 2°C was achieved. Eco-Mal Film not only provides high heat insulation but also maintains transparency, so the appearance of the view before and after installation remains almost unchanged, allowing for installation without altering the exterior. *The installation report can be viewed via the "PDF Download" link below.
