Radiation transmission rate is 1/6 of concrete! Safe and secure facility design with high-density ceramic building materials that have excellent shielding performance. *Catalog available upon request *Samples can be provided.
This is a ceramic building material that protects lives from the threat of radiation. RASHIX-HD has a high specific gravity of 4.9g/cm³, giving it excellent radiation shielding capabilities. For example, when comparing RASHIX-HD and concrete of the same thickness (10cm) against gamma rays emitted from radioactive cesium Cs137, RASHIX-HD has a transmission rate that is 1/6 that of concrete. Additionally, if RASHIX-HD is adjusted to have the same transmission rate as concrete, it can be made about half the thickness of concrete. With a compressive strength of 200MPa, it far exceeds that of concrete structures, boasts excellent chemical resistance, shows no aging changes, and has heat resistance of over 1500°C. 【Track Record】 It has been used in medical facilities (such as radiation therapy facilities) and nuclear-related facilities (disaster response facilities). 【Applications, Industries, and Business Types】 - Introduction to medical facilities conducting radiation therapy. - Use in buildings and equipment as disaster prevention measures for nuclear-related facilities and surrounding residents. - Development as nuclear (disaster prevention) shelters in homes, apartments, public facilities, and commercial establishments. *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

basic information
**Features** RASHIX-HD is a safe, high-density ceramic product that does not contain heavy metals such as lead. Due to its high density, it has the ability to efficiently shield against radiation. Additionally, RASHIX-HD has a high compressive strength of 200 MPa and does not retain radiation after exposure to alpha, beta, or gamma rays. It does not undergo aging changes and has excellent chemical resistance, making it safe for use. It can also be mass-produced in shapes tailored to specific applications and designs. Its performance has been verified through certification from the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Center and evaluation reports from the U.S. Savannah River National Laboratory, and it has obtained patents in Japan, the United States, South Korea, and China (with an application pending in Germany). *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.*
