The "P-TYPE" is a variable area flow meter capable of measuring flow rates in chemical process systems, water treatment systems, and industrial flow systems. The variable area flow meter includes a float and a tapered tube. The fluid flows through the tapered tube and lifts the float. The flow rate is measured as a function of the area of the opening.
