We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of TOYO's 6-axis deburring device. While deburring may seem simple, it is actually difficult to manage and requires human skill and experience. It is easier to operate than a robot, has higher rigidity than a robot, and is more cost-effective than a robot. The motivation for development was to promote such a deburring device and contribute to labor-saving and efficiency in the workplace. After consulting with local deburring contractors, we designed the device with an intuitive posture change in mind, creating a spacious area that naturally ensures the safety zone for operators. The workpiece dimensions are assumed to be 450×450×450mm, and the design minimizes the burden on the operator's posture during workpiece loading and unloading. The device also offers high cleanliness for chip removal, making it environmentally friendly for the workplace.
