Laser welding uses an optical system to focus laser light, allowing for the melting of metal in a short time, which enables welding with minimal heat impact. When the laser light is absorbed by the metal, a hole called a keyhole is formed, and a pool of molten metal is created around it. However, as the laser output increases, the excessive heat raises the upward speed of the molten metal, leading to more spatter.
