The Suppon MWX is a seismic joint designed specifically for pipes, manufactured by Mitsui Mining & Smelting Engineering Co., Ltd. (MESCO), that does not require disassembly. It is compatible with nominal diameters ranging from Φ40 to Φ250. The allowable water pressure can be supported up to 2.0 MPa by using a dedicated in-core. The Suppon MWX MW mechanical cap is easy to remove and rework due to its mechanical receiving mouth, making it ideal as a fixture for conducting water pressure tests or air pressure tests on bridge-mounted piping systems.
