Mokoubi Co., Ltd. and Hattori are engaged in the custom creation of fittings, furniture, and wooden products, as well as maintenance of fittings. We received a request to create a transom for a two-room Japanese-style room, as the open transom area allowed cold air to flow through, and the budget was not very high. To meet the request for preventing airflow and desiring maintenance-free options, we produced a shoji transom using cedar wood. The lattice is double-sided, with a 2mm thick Warlon plate sandwiched in between.
