We recommend Polyurethanes for preventing leaks in heat exchangers.
About half of the heat exchangers we are currently painting are for the purpose of preventing refrigerant leakage. In an atmosphere containing acids, sulfur, and ammonia, corrosion occurs in the copper pipes of the vent section, leading to pinholes and resulting in refrigerant and Freon leakage. Polyurethane prevents the occurrence of corrosion, thereby preventing Freon leakage. Although measures against Freon leakage are being tightened, we recommend polyurethane for preventing leakage in heat exchangers, which are one of the components that are difficult to replace. Please note that copper pipes that have already begun to corrode may experience leakage during the painting process; therefore, as a general rule, we do not paint anything other than new parts. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

BLYGOLD JAPAN Co., Ltd. is a company that specializes in preventing salt damage and other issues in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. BLYGOLD was established in the Netherlands in 1976 as a manufacturer dedicated to preventing the deterioration of heat exchangers, developing its own rust prevention agents and application methods, and began operations in Japan in 2009. BLYGOLD JAPAN's "Polyual" is a technology that protects the aluminum fins of air conditioning and refrigeration units from corrosion such as salt damage. We take pride in the fact that, through maintenance contracts, it is possible to maintain the coating semi-permanently, significantly contributing to the performance maintenance and lifespan preservation of air conditioning systems in Japan.
