Enabling smooth kerosene supply to evacuation shelters. Osaka Prefecture and Shuwa have concluded a disaster prevention agreement.
On March 25, 2016, we concluded an agreement with Osaka Prefecture regarding the cooperation in supplying kerosene and other fuels to evacuation centers during disasters. Learning from the Great East Japan Earthquake, it is anticipated that there will be a shortage of kerosene and tankers for delivery to evacuation centers during large-scale disasters. Osaka Prefecture assumes that it will take about a month to restore electricity and gas after a large-scale disaster, and this agreement was reached to help save lives during winter disasters and to make life in evacuation centers as comfortable as possible. One hundred stoves have been donated to Osaka Prefecture by Shuwa Corporation. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Company information
Since its founding in 1988, the Shuwa Group has been striving, albeit modestly, to reform the logistics of kerosene to provide our customers with "better products, at lower prices, and with greater convenience." By adopting a "door-to-door sales method" for delivering kerosene, we have expanded our sales area. With the cooperation of various suppliers in addressing the issues arising from the rapid increase in kerosene handling volume, we have become able to efficiently deliver large quantities using our own large tank trucks. The customers supporting our door-to-door sales "Shuwa" have reached approximately one million households, including in our founding region of Kansai, as well as Tokai, Kyushu, and Tohoku, solidifying our position as the top seller in kerosene retail in Japan.
