Cost reduction through composite bending processing! Processing is now possible with only progressive die operations!
We would like to introduce the features of "composite bending processing (2D)" by Yokoyama Seiko Co., Ltd. Typically, the bending die structure that uses a core pin is designed to insert the core pin from the lateral direction using a cam. However, since the sample product involves 2D composite bending, the core pin structure from the lateral direction cannot be applied, and the usual processing is considered to be a combination of progressive and single-step processes. Therefore, by changing the core pin structure to be vertical (up and down), we have made it possible to process using only the progressive process. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
