A cosmetic box with a luxurious finish similar to an iPhone packaging.
Most of the projects we receive orders for are packaging for consumer products. However, there is also a demand for boxed packaging for B to B products. Properly expressing the appeal of a product through its packaging is important, regardless of the context in which the product is traded. For example, recently, among B to B products, items like machine parts and industrial products are often expensive, making them a significant investment for the purchasing companies. However, in many cases, the products are delivered packed in cardboard boxes along with cushioning materials. Imagine if each item were neatly placed in a proper box. The impression on the receiving side would change significantly. The feelings of the delivering side might also shift slightly. If it’s a sample shown directly to the customer, the content of the business negotiation might change as well. I believe packaging has a profound impact on people's hearts.

basic information
The client for this package production is a manufacturer with an outstanding share in the field of industrial robots and machine tools. This is a box designed to hold metal processing samples made with their machines. They requested a "luxurious finishing cosmetic box." Even for B to B products, being in an appropriate box enhances not only the product's appeal but also the impression of the company itself. We are looking to put more effort into packaging for B to B products in the future. Usually, we mostly receive requests for "BtoC," meaning gift boxes for general merchandise. However, this time, we received a request from an industrial machinery manufacturer (BtoB). There may be a demand for cosmetic boxes like this for "BtoB" products as well. Coincidentally, we received inquiries for similar projects around the same time. There may be a market for "BtoB" that is not just limited to "BtoC."

<Paper Box × Branding × Experience Design> A brand encompasses the concept of a product, the background from which it was born (context), and the thoughts of the company (manufacturer). Through our paper boxes, we create a "brand story" that resonates with users' empathy. Simple, beautiful, and somewhat alluring. Rather than typical visual design, our packaging "paper box" utilizes three elements that make up the surface (color, material, finish) of the box (CMF design). It conveys a "value proposition" as a package that gives customers a reason to buy. The experience (UX: User Experience) felt through our paper boxes, that is, the value "customers experience," effectively communicates a "strong message" of the essence of the "brand," which directly correlates to "sales." The brand is the tacit knowledge within the company (which may be the culture of tradition and playfulness or the people who work there, something that cannot be verbalized, thus belonging to the non-verbal domain), and we wrap the product in a form (package) that makes it "visible."
Company information
Producing a brand through packaging (Creating new value that customers seek) The origin of the term "brand" comes from the practice of branding one's cattle on a ranch, so that it is clear which cows belong to whom. It serves to distinguish one's own cows from those of other ranches. Branding is the process of differentiating one's own company or its products and services from those of others. In other words, it is about making visible the clear differences and uniqueness (originality) that set us apart from other companies. To achieve this, it is not just about improving superficial aspects like creating a logo or making packaging look cool; it involves designing (visualizing) more fundamental concepts related to the company and its products. Our company plans and produces packaging in the form of boxes. While we create a tangible product known as "packaging," our true mission is to enhance our customers' "brand value" through these boxes. We work on branding through packaging, specifically producing packaging branding (creating new value that customers seek).
