The permeable and water-retaining paving material "Color Sand" has been reintroduced to Akebono Children's Forest Park!
In 1997, shortly after the establishment of Sanwa Grand Co., Ltd., our colored sand was adopted at "Akebono Children's Forest Park" in Hannō City, Saitama Prefecture. This park won the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award at the 14th Urban Park Competition. Since then, it has been introduced to many people as a representative example of our adopted sites. About 20 years later, during the renewal, permeable and water-retaining colored sand was once again chosen for the park path paving. 【Features】 ■ Excellent permeability, water retention, and freeze resistance ■ Over 80% recycling rate due to the use of aggregates specified in the Green Purchasing Law ■ Meets the "surface requirements" needed for sidewalks and bicycle paths ■ Over 1,500 adoptions in "public works" ordered by municipalities nationwide *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

The permeable and water-retaining pavement materials developed by Sanwa Grand Co., Ltd. allow rainwater, an invaluable water resource for the Earth, to permeate and be returned to the ground, thereby alleviating the "heat island phenomenon" in urban areas during the summer, reviving spring water, promoting the growth of trees and flowers, and regenerating "moisture of water and greenery" in the city, creating a pavement that is friendly to both people and nature. Our company aims to contribute to society as a member of a company that creates a comfortable environment through the dissemination of these environmentally friendly pavement materials, which excel in permeability and water retention. Our pavement materials are also ideal for areas with high social needs, such as "barrier-free," "disaster evacuation routes," "weed control measures," and "school route maintenance."
