"Squid" is an inspection system that can simultaneously measure the strength of the subsoil and the thickness of the slime deposit directly. 【Hole Bottom Test Image】 ■ After excavation is complete, the squid is attached to the Kelly bar and lowered to the hole bottom. ■ When the contact plate touches the surface of the slime, the contact plate slides upward, and the CPT rod penetrates into the slime. During penetration into the slime, the weak penetration resistance of the slime is measured with a load cell. ■ When the tip of the CPT rod reaches the hole bottom ground, the penetration resistance increases.
