Instead of relying on the shape of bumps and grooves, users can recognize they are walking on the guidance path through the differences in sound when tapping the floor with their white cane, the tactile sensations transmitted to their hands when sliding, and the soft feeling conveyed through their feet. The mat features gentle slopes to the left and right, with a height difference from the floor of about 1mm, and the surface of the mat is flat without any bumps. The guidance path can be easily completed by simply sticking it onto existing floors with double-sided tape, allowing for flexible use in temporary settings such as event venues or changes in guidance paths due to renovations.
