Commercial facilities often need to be equipped with backup power generation systems, and hospitals, server facilities, large office buildings, and many other commercial and public facilities require backup diesel generators. However, the pumping and storage of diesel fuel oil both inside and outside buildings carry the risk of rapidly spreading fires that exceed the coverage of sprinkler systems. The TraceTech high-speed fuel oil detection sensor "TT-FFS" and the "TT5000" fuel oil sensor cable can be installed around the generator's base, beneath a one-day supply tank, within double piping, in trenches where supply/return piping connects, and in other similar locations.
