We will introduce a case study of the development of "leaf springs" by Advanex. The trigger was cost reduction. A customer, who was forced to reconsider parts procurement, requested a quotation. Advanex decided to adopt processing using forming machines to compete against the processing done by competitors' press machines. This led to significant cost reductions, and the mold costs were compressed to about half of the conventional amount. The customer, seeing a forming machine for the first time in the factory, was amazed by the equipment and management system. This deepened their trust in Advanex, and development of other products is currently underway.
