The developed OPPA vibration distribution meter uses a lattice projection method, allowing frequency analysis at all pixel points (260,000 points) of a high-speed camera.
Conventional vibration measurement primarily relies on single-point sensors, making it challenging to determine the distribution of vibrations. This often requires moving the sensors and conducting repeated experiments or scans. 【Solving the following issues related to vibrations】 ■ The equipment or devices in use are vibrating, and it's unclear how to address this. ■ It's unknown how the vibrations affecting nearby areas are being transmitted. ■ Attaching an accelerometer to a vibrating object has altered the vibration phenomenon. I want to measure it non-contact. ■ Vibration measurements are being conducted using accelerometers or laser displacement sensors, but only single-point measurements are possible. ■ Although using laser Doppler vibrometers to investigate distributions, synchronization at each point for scanning is lacking, preventing measurement of transient phenomena. ■ Repeated experiments are being conducted to obtain distributions, but there is no reproducibility, leading to low reliability. ■ Vibration measurement requires significant labor. I want to measure vibration distributions easily, inexpensively, and quickly. ■ The analysis results of vibrations are difficult to understand and need to be visualized. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Applications/Examples of results
【Application Examples of Measurement Using OPPA Vibration Distribution Meter】 (1) Vibration control through amplitude measurement of vibrating objects: Measurement of vibration distribution (vibration mode measurement) for automobile bodies, engines, doors, etc. (2) Detection of defects in infrastructure structures such as bridges: During vehicle passage or hammering tests, the vibration modes differ depending on the location and severity of the defects. (Detection by capturing long-term changes in vibration modes. Measurement of transient phenomena that cannot be measured repeatedly.) (3) Optimal design for vibration control of machine and home appliance enclosures: After turning on the switch, the rotational speed increases and enters a steady state after exceeding several resonance frequencies. Changes in resonance frequencies occur depending on the position and amount of load, aiming to minimize vibration by capturing the overall movement of the machine. (Short-term changes in vibration modes) (4) Vibration control measures by changing the fixed positions of enclosures or structures. (Nodes and antinodes of vibration modes) (5) Prevention of vibration propagation from vibrating equipment: Confirmation of the direction and attenuation of vibration propagation to neighboring areas. (Detection of vibration transmission paths) (6) Monitoring the danger of buildings under demolition: Detection of sudden changes in deflection amplitude distribution during demolition. (Temporal changes in vibration amplitude distribution) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
