Delivered sign lighting and pacemaker lights using tunnel lighting fixtures, the first of their kind in Japan, to the Shin-Meishin Expressway (Takatsuki JCT/IC to Kobe JCT).
We have delivered the first domestic tunnel lighting fixtures used for sign lighting and pace maker lights on the Shin-Meishin Expressway (from Takatsuki JCT/IC to Kobe JCT). To address and alleviate issues such as collision accidents and traffic jams caused by falling objects while driving on the expressway, as well as the unintended deceleration that occurs when entering a tunnel, we developed a product with features not found in conventional tunnel lighting, making it the first of its kind in Japan, and delivered it to the Shin-Meishin Expressway. ● Sign Lighting Sign lighting refers to tunnel lighting that shines white but flashes red during vehicle fires and flashes yellow during incidents such as accidents, falling objects, or breakdowns, alerting drivers to potential dangers. This allows drivers to operate their vehicles with greater peace of mind. ● Pace Maker Light The pace maker light is a tunnel lighting that shines white and lights up green, creating a flow of light in the direction of travel. By controlling the driver's sense of speed as they try to catch up to the green light, it helps restore speed and alleviate traffic congestion. Conversely, if a driver overtakes the green light, the pace maker light employs technology to assist in speed regulation.

basic information
We are engaged in manufacturing that challenges new technologies to contribute to a society of information and safety. To resolve traffic congestion and rear-end collisions often caused by tunnels on highways, we have supplied sign lighting and pace maker lights. In the event of a fire occurring within a tunnel, the lighting fixtures will flash red. In such cases, you can minimize secondary damage by stopping without entering the tunnel. If a broken-down vehicle is stopped inside the tunnel or if there are falling objects, the lights will flash yellow, so please reduce your speed and drive cautiously at that time. When driving through a tunnel, please control your speed in accordance with the green light of the pace maker lights. By adopting LED lighting, dark tunnels become brighter, and by providing hazard information, it is anticipated that traffic congestion will also be alleviated. You can drive at an appropriate speed as you are guided by the green light. This will help avoid rear-end collisions caused by traffic jams in the tunnel, ensuring a safe and secure journey. This is the manufacturing of Seiwa Electric that delivers peace of mind and safety.

Company information
Hoshia Electric has established itself as a top manufacturer in various fields, including information display systems such as road information boards, industrial lighting known for its waterproof and explosion-proof features under the name "Water Pearl," tunnel lighting that began with the full-scale installation in the Kanmon Tunnel, and resin products represented by "Cutting Duct." As a new business, we started an electromagnetic noise countermeasure (EMC) product business in 1997 to address electromagnetic noise issues arising from digital devices. In the LED business, we successfully developed a blue light-emitting diode in April 2002 and a white light-emitting diode in December of the same year. Based on these technologies, we are actively expanding our business in the field of LED lighting fixtures, ranging from roads and tunnels to industrial lighting. On March 9, 2018, Hoshia Electric Co., Ltd. was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section. In April 2022, we transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market.
